Apple have released Safari for Windows. Apparently, Chief executive Steve Jobs said Apple "dream big" and wants to expand the 4.9% market share Safari enjoys. I'm really not sure why though, surely it won't do much for their profile, the ipod already has that covered. They can't be making any money from it and having "the fastest browser on Windows" as it claims to be, isn't going to convince anyone to switch to a Mac is it? Perhaps a better move would have been to open source it, though the likelihood of that ever happening is extremely slim. All in all, a baffling move...
