This deb file should help Ubuntu users connect to the University of York's wired network. If you want to use the wireless network, network-manager should be able to handle this on its own (i think) but if you're using the wired network in the halls, network manager doesn't seem to support 802.1x authentication. This package sets everything up for you after prompting you to enter your username and password (the username is the same as your University of York e-mail address and the password is the same as the password you use to access your University of York e-mail account). This is now version 2.0. I recommend everyone upgrade to this version as the scripts involved in this package are now far more efficient and standards compliant. Unfortunately, the best way to upgrade is to remove the old version, then install the new version, rather than simply installing the new version. You no longer need to restart the computer to make it work! I'm still stuck with trying to fix this and don't really have the time. But after you've installed the package, either restart, or use the command "sudo /etc/init.d/york-nas start"

This is a 64bit deb of linuxsampler for Ubuntu. It will not work on debian, as debian calls libgig libgig and ubuntu calls it libgig6. There are i386 builds available on the linux sampler website, if using those you will need to install their version of libgig too. This package also depends on liblinuxsampler, which is also available on this site. I have produced some debs of FGRun for Ubuntu users. Both i386 and AMD64 versions are available. If you're not sure which you need, then you almost certainly need the i386 deb (this one). For Ubuntu the settings you'll need are as follows: Executable: /usr/games/fgfs FG_root: /usr/share/games/FlightGear FG_Scenery (will be filled automatically):/usr/share/games/FlightGear/Scenery Other distributions may vary.
